HAF grants

We have not yet received confirmation of the exact funding allocation we will be getting for HAF 2026.  In readiness for confirmation and to allow us to plan ahead for our 2026 delivery, organisations are invited to submit an expression of interest application.

Whilst we do not provide a per-head, per-day baseline cost as other local authorities do, we expect to see high-quality and innovative programme proposals that align with the DfE guidance. Programmes should, where possible, include a hot nutritious meal and offer healthy, balanced nutritional content to support learning, as well as a minimum of 60 minutes of physical activity each day.

The expression of interest form is based on the current HAF guidelines.  If any changes are announced, applicants will be notified accordingly.
